Firbolg

Much more closely related to dryads than giants, Crudilex’s Firbolg take on a humanoid-flora appearance. With an incredibly wide array of forms and variety of flowers, they are perhaps the most diverse race in all of Crudilex. Many take their personalities from the floral language, as well as the meaning of the flower they represent within their culture. For example, Lavender Firbolgs are known to be very relaxed and easygoing.

Racial Traits

Creature Type: You are a Plant.

Size:  Your size is Medium or Large.

Speed: Your walking speed is 30 feet.

Go to Root: You do not require sleep. Instead, during a long rest, you plant yourself in sunlight or fertile soil for 4 hours.

Plant Step: As a bonus action, within an area of thick plants or underbrush, you can magically turn invisible, melding into the plants themselves. This effect ends if you are attacked, if you cast a spell, or move out of the area of plantlife. You can use this trait a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.

Floram Exemplis Magic: You know the druidcraft cantrip. Starting at 3rd level, you can cast the Entangle spell with this trait without expending a spell slot. Starting at 5th level, you can also cast the Pass without Trace spell with this trait without expending a spell slot. Once you cast Entangle or Pass Without a Trace with this trait, you can’t cast that spell with it again until you finish a long rest. You can also cast either of those spells using any spell slots you have of the appropriate level.

Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma is your spellcasting ability for these spells when you cast them with this trait (choose which one when you select this race).
