Forgon
Forgon are a variant race of Lizardfolk hailing from the world of Crudilex. They are defined by their endless growth and bottomless hunger, and appear more akin to crocodiles than lizards.
Racial Traits
Lifespan: You reach adulthood by age 20 and live eternally. However, when you feed, you grow, and as you grow, you must feed more. This cycle perpetuates until you are too large to move, and obtaining the amount of food you need becomes impossible, resulting in your eventual death soon after. Death is common within the first 100 years of life.
Size: Your size is Medium, until you become 40 years old, after which your size becomes Large. Your carrying capacity is twice as large as a medium creature.
Speed: Your walking speed is 30 feet. Your swim speed is 50 feet.
Gluttony: You need to eat and drink three times as much as a human. If your size has become Large, you require eight times as much.
Guzzle Rush: As an action, you may consume a day's worth of rations. When you do, you grow in size, in the same way that you would under the Enlarge/reduce spell. The duration of this effect matches that of the Enlarge/reduce spell. This ability requires concentration. You can use this trait a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
Bite: Your fanged maw is a natural weapon, which you can use to make unarmed strikes. If you hit with it, you deal piercing damage equal to 1d6 + your Strength modifier, instead of the bludgeoning damage normal for an unarmed strike.
Starving Jaws: In battle, you can grapple creatures with your jaws, even if both your hands are full. Whenever a creature attempts to escape your grapple, you may make a bite attack against them as a reaction.
