Goblin
Goblins of Crudilex are a hive-like species made up of primordial ooze. Their very being is tied to the nature of the world of Crudilex and the mysteries of its night skies. Much like Goblins in other worlds, the Goblins of Crudilex are small and green, with sharp teeth and big eyes. Unlike other worlds, they sport a pair of large ears, like a Fennec Fox, and their origin is closer to ooze than humanoid. Reproducing through mitosis and splitting like a germ into two, they clone themselves to spread and grow in colonies of identical Goblins called Hives.
Racial Traits
Size: Your size is Small.
Speed: Your walking speed is 30 feet.
Regenerative: As long as your head remains intact, you cannot be killed. Any limbs no longer attached to your head will regrow during a long rest, as if you cast the Regenerate spell.
Meteoric Mitosis: When in direct contact with the light of a meteor or comet, you break down into ooze for 1 hour, after which two identical goblins emerge from the ooze. One of which you continue as the other a perfect double of you.
Powderknack: You have proficiency with all firearms and explosives. Additionally, you are immune to any fire damage you would deal to yourself.
Goblin Hive: Each Goblin Hive is very different, both culturally and characteristically. Because of this, your Hive of origin gives you one of the following benefits:
Maladious Hive: Your Hive is massive and has little value for life. Recklessness was rewarded richly. Falling to 0 hit points does not render you unconscious.
Hogstomper Hive: Your Hive passes on memories between Mitosis, providing centuries of inherited knowledge. You have proficiency in all Intelligence-based skills.
Outlier Hive: You belonged to a smaller, or newly formed Hive. When you reach 3rd level, you gain an additional Feat. This Feat is a common trait shared among your unique Hive’s members.
Hiveless: You are a mutant, unidentical to your forebear, and you are hunted as a threat to your Hive of origin. You may select a 1st level spell from the Ranger spell list, which you may cast once per short rest.
