“Most totemic troupes are quite poor. But to have so little and still perform is—I think—an even truer expression of Passion.” – Ida Holly
The magnificent Sperrowspot Revue. Pop-up traveling theater, one night only! Half off tickets if you bring your own chair!
The theatre troupe of the Sperrowspot Revue can have their whole stage set up in a day, and torn down in under an hour. A useful talent when your lead actors have a habit of causing a scene at the local tavern when your caravan is pulling out of town. They’d throw him in jail if not for his charm, a once-in-a-lifetime wit wasted on a complete ass of a man.
But the show must go on, and on it goes sundown tonight at the edge of town. One night only.
This map is inspired by the bohemian arts pictured in those early 2000s greats like Moulin Rouge and Dr. Parnassus. Victorian paper theaters, vaudeville. Turn-of-the-century pre-war circus art and occultism. Have a hard time pinpointing exactly what that style is called, but boy do I adore it. This map comes with a number of variations, most inspired by theatre in some sense.
