Night instantly became day for but a moment. Then the stillness came as everyone in the land realized what had happened.
But after the moment passed a second thunder roared. The pounding of hooves and the readying of those who would seek their fortune. For the magical components of a moon fallen Noctrite meteor were more valuable than some small kingdoms. The race was on, and all around hundreds ran into the forest where the crash happened- Ignoring the glowing red smoke of the coming forest fire.
